In this paper, you will first examine two different State of the Union addresses: Ronal Reagan (1988) and Barack Obama (2016). You will need to summarize each in your own word Second, you will compare and contrast the two addresses by examining what the issues were, the tone, have things changed in the past 25 years, etc. Third, you need to examine what the make-up of Congress was: how many Senators, Representatives, their political make-up (party), etc. Finally, using credible news sources tell me what they thought of the two addresses along with your thoughts and opinions on all the addresses. Format for written portion: The paper should be double spaced in 12 point Times New Roman Font with 1 inch margins all the way around with a minimum of 1000 words (word count does not include the bibliography and cover page).
