2. The quotes, summaries, and paraphrases that make up your paper must come from three different periodicals(Journals, Newspapers, or magazines)

3.The journals, newspapers, or magazines you consult must be available in print or electronic form. No web sites such as wikipedia. If you have obtained information from a site

that has been accessed via Google or any other browser, make sure that they are reliable sources( i.e .edu or .gov)

4. your source paper must include all the necessary documentation. This means that whatever excerpt, cited paragraphs, or paraphrases of your sources must acknowledge the author’s name and the title of the text.

-. Copy down the bibliographic information. Typically, the information you need to write down and keep for later is in three parts;
1. Who or what is the author or producer.

2. What is the title of the article? In addition, what is the title of the text, book, periodical or web site the article is found in.
3. When and where was it published? You need to write down all significant dates, locations, and page numbers related to the article.

5. Cut and paste all the quotes as well as your summaries and paraphrases of interesting parts on to your working draft (if the article is online) or transcribe the relevant paragraphs you found in a book. On the last page titled ?Works Cited,? write down all the bibliographic information. At this point,

do not worry too much about perfect form in terms of applying the Modern Language Association conventions for a Works Cited page…that you can do as we approach Proofreading stage as we learn proper MLA documentation style you will be learning the conventions and applying them into your drafts. However, do worry about getting all the bibliographic information down accurately.
