Students are required to complete an in-depth analysis of three (3) fiscal issues adversely affecting a local government (city or county) in California. Each student must adhere to the policy paper format which is available on Blackboard. Your Fiscal Policy Analysis Paper must address the following:
Fiscal Policy Research Paper (20%)
Discuss three prevailing fiscal issues affecting the city/county
Develop one initiative or proposal to address each of the fiscal issues you perceive to be affecting
the city/county
Discuss the financial conditions present in the city/county you identify
Explain the tools you used to assess the current financial condition
Discuss how federal and, or state fiscal policies affect the issues raised
Each research paper is required to be 12 pages, follow APA Style formatting and include a reference/works cited page. .
