Using two course readings, analyze how representation functions in your media example. Consider gender, race, ethnicity, economic class, sexuality and ability, among other socially constructed identities.

Drawing on course readings and discussions, examine the role of representation within a television program, movie, music video, or video game of your choosing. If possible, please continue discussion of your initial paper. This will require that you think more extensively about how identity is performed within your chosen example.
Your paper should provide a detailed analysis of the media text that draws on the theory and methodology of representation as a means of analyzing the messages in the text.
Consider intersectionality within your analysis.
You should also show an understanding of how practices of representation produce ideology that affects social hierarchies and identity construction.
Bear in mind and as you considered in your first assignment, your example may (and probably does) include some dominant representations and some oppositional messages.

You may use additional sources, but your primary analysis should come from our course readings.
