report

Your final paper will contain at least 2000 wordswhich is very roughly seven double spaced pages worth of textplus your name, student ID number, date, descriptive title, references, and illustrations. Please don’t be short, nor too long either: target somewhere between 1950 and 2050 words of text.

Your final report will have at least five maps, charts, or other graphics that illustrate and enhance your report (that is, not just for decoration). You will insert these graphics directly into the Word document.
Your report will also include five additional references related to the general theme. These references may come from newspapers, reputable websites (e.g., not just somebody’s blog), or other reference materials other than encyclopedias and dictionaries (see Useful research resources,” above). Again, every one of these sources will be fully and appropriately referenced, in Chicago or some other standard style. You may use one or two articles that I assign for class, but you will have to research the rest for yourself. I will be glad to help you, if you start early but cannot find the materials you need.
All your research and every one of your illustrations must be fully and appropriately referenced, using the modified Chicago style specified here:Professor Miller’s modified version of the
Chicago Manual of Style

(based on the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition. 2006.
Chicago: University of Chicago Press.)

City Security Insurance Company (CSIC) has accepted all the work you, as a project manager working for Beta Consulting Group (BCG), have done so far. CSIC has asked you to create a budget for the website project.

CSIC has a budget of $250,000 for this website upgrade but is willing to pay more for the right outcome. You will need to figure out how much BCG will charge to create this website for CSIC. Be sure to break down the costs by each task involved. Remember to consider testing and maintaining the website.

You will also need to create an explanation of your budget to accompany your spreadsheet. CSIC will need to know why you propose the budget items and the costs you are including.
Your budget should contain, at a minimum, the following elements:

Cost per website element
Hardware/software
Labor
Research and development
Copyright charges (if any)

Submit your budget in a single 4-5 page document with your rationale for each item in the budget. Use at least 3 sources in your explanation of your budget. Label each section clearly. Use at least 3 scholarly references with in-text citations.
