STEP II:
Read/View any ONE story from http:// religion.blogs.cnn.com. This is CNN’s “Belief Blog.” You can view/read stories on the home page or by clicking on any of the top menu bars (faith now, opinion, politics, culture & science. Leaders or journey).
Read/View any ONE story from http:// www.faithstreet.com/onfaith/. This is the Washington Post religion page called “On Faith.”
Read/View any ONE story from http:// www. huffingtonpost.com/religion/. You can view/read stories on the home page or by clicking on the top menu bar of individual religions or topics.
For EACH of the SIX stories make the following comments: (1) Note the date and author/host of the story. (2) Summarize the main points of the story. (3) Comment on what you learned or founding interesting or your personal reaction to the story. (4) Specifically note how the story relates to a topic discussed in class from either the textbook, articles, websites, videos or other class content. The minimum length for each story reflection is one typed, double-spaced page.

This is the book that we have covered in class, up to chapter 14, Ellwood, Robert S. Introducing Religion: Religious Studies for the Twenty-First Century. 4th edition, New York: Pearson, 2014.

You don’t have to read the whole book, but you should check the topic each chapter covers 1-14, so you know what has been covered in class so it can relate to each article. I will make the proper adjustments to link the articles to the class.
