Some of you may have read the book, The Kite Runner, which raises questions for us about Amir’s betrayel of a friend and his movement toward integrity some years later. In this treatment of Afghanistan’s complex social structure Amir, the privileged son of a Sunni Muslim fails to risk himself for his close friend Hassan whose father is a Shi’a Muslim who works for Amir’s father.  The story not only opens questions of class and religious differences among Muslims during this period but it also exposes the nature of betrayel and the choice to change one’s life. First, what do you find challenging in this brief synthesis of the story? Why is Amir forced to change himself and meet the challenges of his time and culture? Second, Buddhism is cited in relation to its central virtues and especially compassion. What might Buddhist virtues offer us in our journey toward happiness and peace? The Kite Runner’s book explores across weighty logical themes and symbols out of the possible alternatives displayed. In order to achieve the authors’ objectives excellently across all aspects of life, to expound this further the book demonstrates how betrayal and love redemption approach is used to illustrate feelings, sufferings and punishments, as a result, of fraud. It also expounds on other themes such as forgiveness after betrayal, love, immigrant’s life experiences and lastly social class and ethnic conflicts. This book uses symbolic approaches and realistic characters to ensure that the outcomes are the most appropriate. The physical setting environment used to displays the themes are most significant turning point of the characters’ lives and teachings since it proclaims to support objectives of the study. Analysis presented in this report is helpful in understanding how to answer questions related to class and religious differences among Muslims, challenges synthesized in the story. On the same note, this report provides and initial insight about Buddhism virtues and compassion in comparison to Muslims towards happiness and peace.
The challenges in this story are the nature of deception that rotates around friends, the changes of dealing with betrayal and the sufferings caused by betrayal. This synthesis also portrays challenges that create disparities and discrimination within socio-economical classes and religions. Amir forced to change himself and meet the challenges of his time and culture because he had felt guilty of his betrayals and knows his original beliefs as false as he was privileged to become ”a true Afghan” with responsibilities and understandings.
Buddhism attributes are used in Kite’s book to explain the need of forgiveness in companions where the characters find the love redemption and feel a genetic connection with their parents. These virtues also assist Soraya and Rahim Khan to understand themselves better by seeking forgives and also considers their guiltiness as for help. After understands each virtue obtain from the Buddhist parents, happiness and peace is achieved through understanding guiltiness and lost love to seek recovery.

Conclusion
