Student will select a peer-reviewed quantitative article that adopts either questionnaire orquasi-experimental design method. Student will analyse the article based on the Checklist for Evaluating the Quality of Study Design and Sampling (the checklist is located on D2L).Students will be required to write a critique to evaluate the quality of the study design based on the items listed in the Checklist. The critique will be between 1,500 and 2,000 words in length. The critique must be supported with the required readings and outside readings. The paper will be formatted according to APA 6th edition. The essay will be structured as follows:

A rubric, aligned with criteria in the Graduate Research Handbook will be provided used to assess the papers. The rubric will invoke the above components as criteria:

Students will submit their paper to the learning management system and will be checked for originality by using the Turnitin software.
