Write a paper that explains your topic proposal, what conversations are happening around your topic, and explain any gaps in your research/topic.
This paper must include the following:
A topic proposal (which includes your research question)
A review of at least 3 social/cultural conversations surrounding the topic – non-academic sources (blogs, videos, newspaper articles, non-peer reviewed)
A review of at least 3 academic conversations surrounding the topic – (peer reviewed, books, interviews, surveys)
The conversations you include (whether social/cultural or academic) must be from at least 3 different perspectives (but I encourage that you include more) – you cant write this in a one track mind, the entire conversation around your topic includes many different points of view.
For example: If your topic is GMOs in food, you could include: the farmer’s perspective, a scientists perspective, and a consumer’s perspective.
At least 1 gap in your research/topic (by this I mean: Are there any conversations that you expected to find but didn’t? Are there any perspectives missing from the conversations you found? Is your specific research topic missing from the academic conversations?)
Technical parameters:
4 (minimum)
