Public Health Writing Project

I. Report: Choose any topic in public health that addresses any public health issue covered in this course. Create a three to four page report as an overview on the topic you choose. You may select any public health topic, but be sure to include a comprehensive discussion on the topic and discuss management strategies that either impact or enhance public health. You should also include your opinions and/or recommendations for enhancement or improvement. Include a cover page, reference page, and use APA 6th ed. format for citations and references. You only have to use APA format for the citations and references.
II. PowerPoint: Create a 5 page PowerPoint with key talking points that you would use if you were presenting the topic to other health professionals. Cite sources.
III. Brochure information: Write up information on this topic that you would use in an informational brochure to the
community. You do not have to create the brochure, but you must include these headings and relevant information to
send to the brochure designer:

The community health issue you chose with a description of it
Factors that contribute to the issue
Available data, cite sources
Possible interventions that can be made by community health workers
