As you know, an annotated bibliography is used in academic writing to help the student gain a better understanding of a particular topic area through the lens of current research. In many ways, an annotated bibliography is like a reference list on steroids. It is one way to demonstrate a review of the literature on a topic. You format the reference, then you add additional information underneath each reference about that source. For this assignment, you will add a summary (i.e., 1-2 paragraphs) of the resource (e.g., What were the goals of this article? What conclusions were made? In short, you provide enough details so that anyone will be able to understand the general purpose of the article.) followed by an analysis (i.e., 1-2 paragraphs). Your analysis should integrate a discussion of the course work information and the article information. Beyond that, here are a few additional questions to consider when critically analyzing the articles: What is the significance of the information from this article? HOW can this information be helpful and meaningful? WHY is this information important? HOW does the information contribute to the field of research? What information was proffered because of this? Moreover, how does the information in this article correlate with information from the course? How is the information from the article similar/different from the course? WHY?
I have attached the articles that will need to be used. Please utilize additional references in the analyzing section (using in-text citation)
