Hi there this is a module that we have to work as group on a certain project we have chose a project (Remote Control Submersible) each week there are tasks handed to each member of the group and I need your help for this week contribution, Project specs will be attached to understand the concept in general and below is the information:

Based on existing designs the team decided that the submersible should have the following
dimensions: 3/4m * 3/4m and should weigh between 5-10kg. The cost should be between 500 –
1000.

and my task is (Mohammad is looking into how buoyancy can be changed, i.e. flood tanks ext. and methods
available on the market.) Mohammad is my name btw ?? so I believe the references should be online links from the internet ”books are not necessarily” and the prices found must be in the UK market in pounds and I also believe Pics should be available to support my research

A local company that produces ROV and mini-submarines for sub-surface

exploration plans to expand in the recreational industry.

The Task

As a team in a new design consultancy you are required to develop a remote

controlled submersible.

The submersible should be fully remotely controlled from the surface, provide real

time video footage and have a mechanism to lift a 1kg mass from up to 1om

below the surface.

The Problem

The submersible should operate in both fresh and salt water environments.

The submersible must be positively buoyant in the event of power failure.

The submersible must be one man portable.

Must meet safety regulations.

Solution needs to be robust and fun.

Must be ‘attractive to the marketplace- 4Ps.

Technical Deliverables

A conceptualised submersible design.

Description of the impact of performance and endurance on price.

Evaluate the commercial viability of such project, based on existing market
and USPs of proposed design.

General technical deliverables are documented in your report template
