Order Description
Project Justification (Scoping)
Your specific assignment for this module is to select, describe, and justify an organization for your project and have it approved by your professor. You may consider any of these organizations as long as you have enough access to that organization to respond to the assignments:
“Any organization which has project management activities for which you can gather information and evaluate. Not all organizations have project management activities such as retail organizations and so on.”
You will need to select an organization which has available information, and data that you are able to access. (Note: if you are unable to gain data, please contact your professor)
Once your organization is selected, then you need to provide a description of one particular project management activity within this organization, either past or ongoing. Be sure to identify the type of project, who is involved in the project generation/development process (key individuals only), the steps or milestones in the project, and what the expected outcomes are for the project.
Select your organization and description above and upload a short description of that organization and your relationship to it. Your professor will then either approve your choice or visit with you about other possibilities. You don’t need to have personal knowledge of the organization, and you may select one in your community or from an Internet search. This should be a 3-page paper and you should provide justification and support for your selection — that is, why is this organization chosen, what do I hope to learn from studying this organization.
SLP Assignment Expectations (Use Heading for paragraphs)
Your paper will be evaluated for both depth and breadth, be sure to fully provide all information requested. Remember to organize the text for readability; headings will help make sure you address all necessary information. As always, include an introduction and conclusion, and document any reference sources in the text where you use the information as well as a reference list.
This should be a 3-page paper (not including cover page and references).
*Note: Writer provides the organization and a short description of that organization to me, so I can provide it to the professor early.
