The Collective Bargaining Project is based on the attachment, “Collective Bargaining Case_Auto Products Corporation_United Metal Workers Local 5000”. Although this is an individual project, you will take the opposite side you were on assigned for the mock grievance, and base your project from that side’s perspective. (If you were on the union side for the grievance you will be on the company side for this project, and vice versa.) * I was on the union side*.

There are 4 sections of this project:

Setting – Your analysis of the labor environment, and economic conditions.

Strategy – Develop a strategy and anticipate objectives from the other side

Write contract proposals (Writing Contract Proposals.doc). Utilize the current contract.

Comment on a potential strike or lockout.

2. Save it to your computer.

3. Review the case and add the appropriate information.

4. Submit the assignment.
