Chapter 10 involved many concepts about geometry including perimeter, circumference and area. In this project you should
keep those objectives in mind while completing this project.
In additional recall that measurements are given in Feet Inches. Therefore 106 translates to 10 feet and 6 inches or
10.5 feet or 10 feet.
Also when you a computing your calculations make sure you are paying attention to the units. Make sure you include the final
units of measure in all answers. For example $ for money, ft or in for area, in or ft for perimeter/circumference, in or ft for
volume, etc.There will be a deduction for missing or incorrect units.
1. KITCHEN
The kitchen measures 130 x 120. It needs vinyl flooring.
2. BREAKFAST AREA
The breakfast area measures 106 x 120. It also needs vinyl flooring.
3. LIVING ROOM
The living room measures 150 x 180. It needs carpet flooring.
4. FOYER
The foyer measures 60 x 76. It also needs carpet flooring.
5. STUDY
The study measures 90 x 150. It needs carpet flooring and baseboard trim.
Each door measure 36 inches.
6. MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom measures 120 x 136. It also needs carpet flooring and baseboard trim. Each door measures
36 inches.
7. GARAGE
The garage measures 200 x 200. It needs concrete poured to a depth of 6 inches.
8. SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool measure 200 x 100 and is 66deep. It needs to be filled with water to within 6 inches from
