Identify a modern operating system and research the known vulnerabilities that have  been identified for the selected O/S.  Read the patch notes for the system and determine which of these have been mitigated and which are still known issues.  Is it essential for an operating system to try to address each vulnerability that is detected.  How would you justify your position on this issue?
