Useful information to complete the assignment:
PM Assignment uses multiple arrivals, conditional routing, swim lanes and time distributions.
Swimlanes:
Swimlanes are used to separate the activities based on the department that they are acted upon.
Please see the video on swim lanes in this link to see how to accomplish it. You need to scroll down to the bottom of the page: https://www.processmodel.com/learning-center/tutorial-videos/ (Links to an external site.)
Distributions:
Process model allows you to model several time distributions as you have noticed in the university bookstore example. This assignment uses a couple different distributions.
Normal distribution:
When mean and standard deviation are specified (In this process: For PR requisition form), we use this distribution in the time box: N(Mean, Std.Deviation). Therefore, in this case, you need to specify the time for that activity as: N(15,1).
Triangular distribution:
When minimum, maximum, and average times are specified (In this process: Send PR form to ordering dept), we use this distribution in the time box: T(min, average, max). Therefore, in this case, you need to specify the time as: T(10, 15, 60).
Multiple arrivals and Conditional Routing:
