Format of Paper
• Double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman
• Number the pages at the top right.
• The paper should be a minimum of 7 pages in length
• Include an introductory paragraph with a thesis statement.
• Include a concluding paragraph. Make sure to refer back to the thesis statement.
• Use at least 5 outside sources (books, internet sites , journal articles, and interviews)
• Make sure you choose sources that are trustworthy without propaganda
• List these sources on a new page of the end of the paper and title it “Works Cited.” Use MLA format. If your source is a website, include the URL link.
• If you quote or paraphrase a phrase or sentence(s) from an outside source, make sure you use quotation marks. Cite the author and page number within a parenthesis after the sentence in which you quote information.
• Check spelling and grammar. It’s a good idea to have another person proof read your paper as well.
