o Write your opinion on that issue what we should do to fix this issue I brought ( SAMPLE) you can read it, and do the same thing. so mine is about An issue related to tobacco I choose this idea (we need increased funding for cessation services that reach pregnant women who use tobacco OR for anyone) so talk about that and this is my outline use it. 1. Introduction —– 2- Body 1- Increased funding for cessation services, 2- Reduce out of pocket costs for cessation, (we need to make quitting smoking more affordable, and increase the cost of cigarettes by increasing taxes) 3- Provide quit-line intervention widely. 2. Conclusion Lastly, the most applicable treatment for this issue consists of doing several cessations for free, and increases the cigarette tax. Consequently reduce out of pocket costs for cessation Also, check the rubric for that I will attach the document. The Minimum Age for Tobacco Purchase Should be 21 The amount of cigarettes kids buy each year only in Ohio is at a shockingly high number of 19.0 million. The issue at hand is that kids in high school are smoking, and typically when they start in high school they continue to do so throughout life. We need to get the age of purchasing tobacco to 21 years old. Studies show that after 21, people don’t pick up the habit of smoking cigarettes. If pushing back the smoking age to 21 would prolong the process of kids smoking at a younger age, then it would only make sense to make it a law that you have to be 21 to purchase tobacco. 15.1% of high school students (93,300) already do smoke. That percentage is high and with how the past statistics have shown, is that, that number will only get higher when these high school students get older. The worst statistic of all is that 12,500 kids under 18 become new daily smokers each year. The kids who are under 18 years old are stunting their lung growth and only giving themselves an early start to horrible health issues that will start early. As I have said before, the age of buying tobacco right now is at 18 and we need to make it 21 years of age to buy tobacco. We need to do this so that the numbers of kids who smoke in high school or under the age of 18 will go down. As that high school generation ages, they won’t have poor health issues because they didn’t smoke or continue to smoke after high school. We as the state of Ohio need to make this issue more known and have it become a law.
