This assignment is a poster presentation for a research project on “Home Fall Prevention Among Elderly Patients with Cognitive Disorder at the Alzheimer’s Day Care Center”

PICOT:
The population is : Elderly patients with Alzheimer’s or other Neurocognitive Disorder at Port-Saint Lucie Alzheimer’s Day care Center

Intervention: -Educate the patient’s family/caregiver on how to prevent their loved ones from falling at home. – Initiate a home assessment by the staff after each fall.

Comparison: Provide education to the caregivers on how to prevent falls.Then compare the result with previous data.

Outcome: Reduce falls at home among the Alzheimer’s patients

***This project will not be submitted to the IRB for review. I do not need IRB approval.
