Please devote approximately 1,500 words (that’s about six double-spaced typed pages) to the following question/topic. You may range from 1,400 words to 1,700 words. Include the final word count at the end of the essay. You do not need to conduct any outside research—you have more than enough material in the text and class notes. You do not need to include footnotes or endnotes. This is an essay: Introduction, Body, Conclusion. The quality of your writing will be factored into the final grade. Your essay should be packed with specific detail from the text and class notes. I will be looking for concise summaries of Supreme Court rulings, key quotations from the rulings, major Congressional action, and Executive Orders, and other supporting materials.
The Midterm is due by noon, on Tuesday, Noon, July 26. Please email as a word document.
