Your response should go to the core issue or heart of the matter. Further, how and in what manner are judges fully active interpreters of the law? Do you agree with the courts interpretation? Further, what does this case tell us about rights in Canada.The purpose of this paper is to show your ability and skill and using and conceptualizing the course material. Your paper should be no more than 5 pages. The only sources required are those to be found in the course: Hogg, Beaudoin and Mendes, and Kelly and Manfredi. According to the scholarship, what roles do activism and ideology play in judicial decision making (note here I am not just asking about the Supreme Court)? In your opinion, does the structure of the federal courts serve the founders’ goals of protecting liberty? Please offer evidence to defend your position.
