question: why do the meanings of ideas like freedom, equality and justice matter?

(help from tutor that was given to me): this question is asking primarily about the different meanings of these ideas. look at books and discuss specific ideas.
you want to be able to demonstrate that different ideologues looks at these concepts in different ways – a classical liberal idea of what freedom and equailty should mean is very different from that of a conservative or a traditional Marxist, for example, classical and modern liberals look at freedom in different ways.
you also want to talk about why those different meanings matter – but make sure you have fully explained the meanings that various ideologues give go these concepts first.
must have at least 10-15 references from books/journals all referenced in Harvard Referencing style
