Paper instructions:

Must be 5 paragraphs; an introduction, 3 paragraphs with arguments (including a counter-argument and explanation of why it is wrong), and a conclusion. It MUST have the following elements: hook, clear thesis (against police brutality), ethos (with sources that I can say aloud in the speech, such as According to blah, da da da”), pathos, logos, evidence of research, refutations, concessions, and a call to action. It needs at least 5 different rhetorical devices (such as (pathos): anaphoria, analogy, imagery, personal account, appeals to values,  (ethos): tone, concession, credentials of sources, and (logos): numerical evidence, anecdotal evidence, syllogism, if-then statements, and historical precedent). I am very much against police brutality, especially that against teenagers. I am from Seattle, Washington, so if there are specific cases in a local area that would also be helpful.
