-first read pages 1906-1908, which will introduce you to the subject;

-then read “Emphasis on the Text,” pages 1908-10;

-then read about “Biographical Criticism,” pages 1914-16, “Psychoanalytic Criticism, pages 1916-17, “Reader-Response,” page 1920, and “Cultural Studies,” pages 1928-29.
