‘Which of substance dualism and type identity theory is the most plausible philosophical theory of the mind?’
Your essay needs to demonstrate that you understand the problem of mind that both theories are attempting to solve, the arguments that both theories of mind propose, and problems with the theories.

2.1 Understand two theories of the mind..
Evaluate two theories of the mind (e.g. dualism and behaviourism).

Task 2
‘How plausible is Locke’s identification of personal identity with a continuous consciousness?’
Your essay needs to demonstrate that you understand the problem of personal identity that Locke’s theory is attempting to solve and problems with Locke’s theory.
You should use appropriate referencing of the source material and provide a reference list (AC: 3.1). (Word limit: 600 words)

3.1 Understand at least one theory of the self.
Analyse one theory of the self (e.g. Locke’s criticism of memory).

Please use simple english and not too many complicated terms as my level is average. ( Technically the essay is 1800 words. but it can be 10% plus or less. so less is fine)
