Today you will be writing a letter that represents a potential new initiative for the University of
Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration. To increase the percentage of admitted students who
actually attend and to build a better sense of community among CBA students, Dean Audrey Murrell is
pairing up existing CBA students with those who have been accepted. You have been selected as a
mentor for the student to whom you will be writing. Your goal in this letter is to talk about CBA and
convince the admitted student to actually make the commitment and attend Pitt and CBA. You will
