Personal statement: what are your long term for your nursing carrier

This is the example i want to write about, I just need to put it in nice essay . I got my RN license not long ago, now trying to apply for RN to BSN program, they require a personal statement. Here is my draft:
Intro—If i was asked this question a year ago , I would say: ” I dont know, working somewhere as a nurse”. I never really thought about my carrier for the next five years or any specialty im interested in to work one day. I always knew that i want to become a nurse to help people and care for them in times of need. Until i became a patient myself and saw everything from a different angle. I had a great experience giving birth in one of the hospitals in New York city. I can proudly say that my ling term goals are to work as a maternity nurse and pursue Master degree in nursing.
Body 1–Every prenatal visit I came with a list of questions for the doctor. Doctors were very busy and one day a nurse saw my list. She stayed with me , answered all the questions, took her time and made me feel “not crazy” asking too many qestions. After that i knew who i can ask.
Body 2– on the day of the delivery of my baby nurses were always by my side. Ice chips , breathing technique, explaining how to push – they were always there. Nurse was the one who gave me my baby. Explained how to breastfeed, change a diaper, hold baby, wash baby , how to take care of myself at home and etc.
Conclusion- i want to become a maternity nurse because i feel that a lot of teaching needs to be done with new mothers, and not only new.
