How can you, as a leader, draw upon your own value system—your ethical and moral platform—to foster collaboration? Qualities such as honesty, seeking first to understand, and having a strong sense of fairness and equality so that everyone’s voice and situation is acknowledged and incorporated are critical for collaborative facilitation.
Think about how you would use your ethical and moral platform to inspire collaboration. Why is it important to do this as a leader in education?
By Day 3
Post an example of how your school or a school in your surrounding area collaborates with their community for the benefit of students. Explain whether it is effective or provide additional strategies for improving this process. Explain how your personal, moral, and ethical platform might enhance the collaboration.
