Personal essay redo
Are you free to do an 1000 essay? I had paid someone who said they have a masters degree in writing and it is horrible. I am disputing now. Please see below and let me know. I am posting now. Also i was going for the maya angelou type of writing (sister Flowers) talking about my trip to greece or whichever place you know best. Please please do not just talk about greece and places in greece this is a personal essay so you would have to write as if you were there and the places you seen and or the places were you have eaten and how the food tasted for example.
As you draft your personal essays this week, consider your thoughts about the subject you chose for this project. Whether your thoughts are positive or negative (most of you chose subjects about which you have fond emotions), your responsibility as a writer is to make your readers feel your emotions. Your reader may hate the style of art you chose. They may have been mugged in the city you are describing. You need to show them the positive side.
What you will not attempt in a descriptive essay is to argue for why readers should have the same thoughts and feelings you have for the subject. You will not use your logic and reasoning in this paper, but you will still be using rhetoric to gently influence their thoughts. Each word you choose has emotional weight, and you will create that pathos whether you intend it or not. Therefore, you must learn to assess the potential effects of your choices and determine if the likely results are what you desire.
