B. Use evidence from each of the three articles to support your conclusion that this is an important theme.
1. What does each article say about the idea?
2. How are the different articles connected around this particular theme?

III. Theme 2: Name of Theme
A. (Let’s pretend that all three articles describe the health benefits of yoga). Yoga is a discipline for the body and mind, with mental and physical health benefits.
1. Article 1 examines the physical health benefits of yoga
1. Increased flexibility, increased core strength, better posture
2. Article 2 explores the mental health benefits of yoga
1. Practitioners are more relaxed, have better control of their breathing
3. Article 3 discusses both physical and mental health benefits
1. The meditative elements of yoga are linked with decreased stress, depression, and anxiety; correlation with lower blood pressure, reduced chronic pain, and better sleep
IV. Theme 3: Name of Theme
A. Present an important theme you observed in the three articles.
1. What is the theme?
2. Why is it important? Provide at least your topic sentence for the theme.
B. Use evidence from each of the three articles to support your conclusion that this is an important theme.
1. What does each article say about the idea?
2. How are the different articles connected around this particular theme?

V. Conclusion
A. Provide a statement of conclusion. By tying all three articles’ material together, support the assertion from the thesis.
B. Summarize the three main themes. What conclusions can you draw when considering all three articles together as a single unit? What is the overall message of the three articles?
C. Tie the conclusion back to the introduction.
