• A brief description of the placement organisation, its management structure and key staff. Highlight any relevant policies, legislation or funding sources which influence the organisation

• A description of the type of client the organisation attracts, using culturally safe language

• Appropriate sociological theories to examine the presenting issues of clients; and the ways in which the organisation aims to work with them Theories from a range of disciplines should be incorporated. Students are encouraged to read beyond the disciplines of sociology, social policy and psychology to consider other areas of the humanities including history, economics, gender studies and more, to show that deep influences of thought on the structure of the modern workplace in the field.

3. The role of policy, funding and legislation in shaping the function and culture of the organisation are analysed

4. Appropriate sociological theories are used to explain the social position of the clients

5. Appropriate sociological theories are used to explain desired outcomes of the program

6. Evidence of reading from a broad range of sources is shown

7. Evidence of critical reflection and interpretation of internal organisation documents and published material Structure,

2. Relevant research and scholarship literature used appropriately to support claims
