lease engage with the ideas, concepts, theories, frameworks, tools, and discussions presented throughout this course, in order to reflect upon your own career situation. Please write a short report on your reflections. I suggest you structure your thought process as follows:

Part 1: Please use the emotional intelligence framework (cf. Pre-readings): ‘What makes a leader’ (by Daniel Goleman) to describe your current strengths and weaknesses as a leader managing people. You will realize that this framework serves as an umbrella that integrates many of the ideas, concepts, theories, frameworks, tools, and discussions from this course.

Part 2: Describe how your emotional competences have influenced your career evolution until now.

Part 3: Briefly describe your career goals and ambitions, what you would like to be doing 5 or 10 years from now.

Part 4: Describe how you will develop your current emotional and leadership capabilities to attain your goals.

Submission size: Your final submission should be no more that 2400 words “all-inclusive” i.e. your entire submission (including references and any appendices) should be 2400 words or less, and this is an exception to the general rule as given in the handbook.

Guidance: This assignment will remain strictly confidential. Although your thought process will be complex, you will be required to structure and synthesize your conclusions. Please read the article posted below, ‘What Makes a Leader?’ (Goleman 2004, Harvard Business Review)
