The topic of the report should focus on something you would like to change at the Shipyard.

You will write a persuasive report using the standards of report writing. Your report should be addressed to an individual who has the influence to enact your suggestions.

The introduction must present a clearly and completely defined problem.

The recommendation/conclusion section must present a clearly defined solution to the problem.

The evidence and research drawn from both primary and secondary sources must back up the problem and solution.

The language and writing strategy (either direct or indirect) must demonstrate that the writer took the audience into consideration.

Must be in-text citations or lead-ins for sources used in the written part of the report so that it is clear where the writer is integrating research.

All sources (both primary and secondary) must be represented on a works cited page.

Document needs to use a conversational and professional tone that is clear and vigorous in language
