The Final Paper in this course will be based on the Nature vs. Nurture argument. Integrate what you have learned from the information in your text and at least 2 outside sources to answer the following questions:

What are your thoughts on the Nature vs. Nurture argument?
What is the history of this issue?
What are the most essential characteristics of this issue?
What are your concluding thoughts?

Your paper should be 4 pages and formatted based on the APA guidelines. However, you may write in first person, since this paper is based upon your opinion. You will also not be required to write an abstract. Be sure to include a title page, reference page, and second level headings.

Nature vs. Nurture. Provide a thorough literature review of the research on political socialization and the biological or genetic explanations for political attitudes. In your opinion, are attitudes formed through political socialization, or does biology/genetics determine political attitudes? Justify your answer. You should devote a large portion of your paper to your position on nature versus nurture. This portion of your paper should be supported by research identified in your literature review
All papers should include parenthetical, in-text citations with a references/works cited page. Papers which do not include parenthetical, in-text citations will receive a failing grade. Appropriate citation styles include American Political Science Association, Modern Language Association, and American Psychological Association. You must use a minimum of 12 sources, which includes at least 8 scholarly sources.
