Analysis should be 8 paragraphs(3pages). The essay will begin with an introductory paragraph that briefly introduces the text you plan to analyze and will end with a paragraph which summarizes your various conclusions. Questions to focus:
1. What is the purpose of the text
2 who is the primary audience
3. What is the relationship of the author to the audience?does she or he maintain a position of distance and authority or seek to “come close” to readers??how is this closeness or distant achieved? Focus on one strategy.
4. Is the text organized effectively?if so,what is one strategy the authors use to organize text
5. What is the authors tone and how is that tone created through language,word choice and or imaginary etc
6. How are pictures used in the text and what specifically do you believe they achieve?
