An initial design brief is inevitably vague, and as you develop your Product Design Specification part of the task will be to research and clarify any information you require. In industry, a PDS may not necessarily include justifications for the parameters specified, however, in this assignment it is important that you do so in order to evidence the thinking behind that which has been specified. Where you have made assumptions, these must be also made clear.
