Paper Format:
P#1:What the topic is and explain what is known about it
P#2:Brief synopsis of the film/sitcom, at least half a page
P#3:Choose a sociological theory that is relevant to the film/sitcom, explain the theory and how it relates to the film
P#4&5: Analysis with two sociological terms to be applied to in each paragraphs and explain thoroughly
P#6:Did you like or dislike the film/sitcom and explain in detail as to why or why not. Does using socio. perspective make you look differently?
-3 full pages, no more than 4 pages

#4: MEDIA ANALYSIS
Evaluate a book, movie or television show episode/series. In writing the brief paper, do not
simply summarize, but rather interpret the book/movie/episode/series in terms of sociological
concepts, phenomena, and research addressed in the text and/or in class.
