Mass communication theory: the spiral of silence

The Mass Comm Theory paper is due by the end of Session 11. Students are to compose a 6-10 page paper discussing their chosen theory. The paper should address historical development (author, purpose, impetus), application (use in scholarly pursuit), and critical analysis (discussion of scholarly views supporting and criticizing/questioning validity) of the theory. The paper should also include the critical view of the student as to the validity and/or effectiveness of the theory and hypothesize as to future use and impact. Papers are to be typed and double-spaced in 12 point font and demonstrate college-level writing skills. Include a title page and a bibliography page, but they do not factor in to the 6-10 page requirement.

I’ve attached my initial sources and summary of paper for reference/direction. Feel free to add other sources, no need to use the original ones. Need at least 4 sources!
