mass communication

This paper is for a mass communication research methods’ class. I haven’t specified a topic as I think the writer can decide a topic that heshe thinks is good. I will be collecting data myself so that shouldn’t be the concern of the writer, the writer will analyze the data according the the criteria set by my professor. The writer and I will work on the paper together so I need cooperation and patience. I will need the writer to send me any part heshe finishes to deeply look into it. I  need to get an A!

mass communication

If you are familiar with Mass Communications then this one is for you. I need 2 pages answering 4 questions. Double Spaced and get to the point of the answer quickly.

1)Describe and give specific examples of the role and function of gatekeepers.

2)Discuss the ‘4th estate’ role of the news media. How might this be an essential component of a democratic system.

3)Discuss the interplay of media & culture. How do mass mediated symbols influence cultural beliefs, practices, norms, etc? How might certain media symbols be viewed as a type of “cultural intrusion” by people of other countries (especially developing countries, the 3rd world, etc)?

4)define and discuss selective exposure and selective retention. How might new media technology influence both of these concepts?
