Review The CNU Charter (The Table of Contents is a listing of all Charter principles) and “The Canons of Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism” which is printed as an Appendix in the Charter Book. Next, find another “manifesto” for sustainable urbanism (whether that exact phrase is used or not). You can use the pdf on the course website: Seven Rules for Sustainable communities: pp. 1-15. Compare and contrast the one you find (or the “Seven Rules”) with the CNU Charter and the Canons of Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism published in the back of the Charter Book.
