Malpractice

perform a search for a legal case where a patient sued his or her physician or healthcare provider for malpractice, based on lack of informed consent. These cases may range from patients who suffered adverse reactions to treatment or medications, to patients who claim they did not know a certain outcome was possible. Your case should be no more than seven years old. Once you have found your case, answer the following questions in a coherent and well-developed essay:

Why does the patient claim to have a lack of informed consent?
How could the provider in the case have avoided the accusation of lack of informed consent?
Do you believe the patient is partly responsible for the lack of informed consent?
What could the patient in this case have done differently to avoid the issue?

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
