LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification exam

LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification exam

For your course project, you will create a certification study guide that could be used by someone who is preparing for the LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification exam. Your project will consist of writing descriptions of each exam objective, including procedures or step-by-step instructions for each objective, and adding either screenshots or figures from internet research to reflect your completed steps in each unit. This study guide should reflect all topics covered in this course.

Directions: In a Word document, explain each exam objective topic from the bulleted list below in at least two paragraphs (more may be necessary depending upon the topic) and make sure to separate topics with a new paragraph.

Introduce the bash shell and the basic concepts, such as an interactive shell.
Identify variables defined as local and global.
Explain the use of meta-characters used for file globbing.
Search text files using regular expressions.

Include screenshots where necessary to show important steps in the procedures. If you do not include screenshots, use your favorite search engine and find screenshots to include, making sure to properly cite these sources using APA citation.

Use at least two outside sources (excluding the information from the Networking Academy materials) as you create your study guide. Remember to use APA format when citing your sources.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
