This is an open-ended assignment intended to help develop the habit of thinking on paper. You will write about something that catches your eye in the reading. Do not try to summarize entire chapters!!! In your logs you want to answer two questions about the issue you choose. (1) What did the author say about the issue of interest? (2) What do you have to say about this? (Think about how it connects to your experiences, ideas, learning from elsewhere, etc.)
