Literature review on ecosystem services
Order Description
This assignment is 1 of 5 phases of a research project/report. I have attached the project brief for all 5 phases but you shouldn’t really need to refer to it as this is only one part of the report. I have also uploaded phase 2 of the report to help you understand what this assignment is about.
Within phase 2 there a several key issues for the Moreton Bay in South-East Queensland which I have listed.

For this assignment (phase 3) we have to conduct a literature review on 1 of the key issues. The key issue I have listed is number 1:
1. Planning for increased pressure on Moreton Bay’s Ecosystem Services caused by increasing population growth, tourism and recreational activities.

This issue defines the scope and topic of the assignment but the specific research question is:

Will we exceed our carrying capacity of ecosystems services from an increase in population growth, tourism and recreation? So this is the exact research question for this assignment.

Now this part/phase of the assignment is not specific to the region of Moreton Bay or South-East Queensland. For this part you have to branch out and find other case studies within Australia and Internationally to answer the research question. So look for case studies in other parts of Australia and mainly other countries to see how they have addressed the issue and establish best practice methods and innovation to address this. (Remember not within Moreton Bay). Once you have found other case studies you need to evaluate them through an evaluation framework. The task sheet also says to re-define the study area and study objectives. Leave this section, I will do it.

Whats required is a literature search.
Paper output/format is a report. With numbered headings, introduction, executive summary, conclusion etc. Another heading will be methodology for research. As explained in the task sheet you must state your research method for the case studies you have researched. So either comparative to each other and Moreton Bay or Opposite. Once this is done you can then establish best practice methods.

The majority of references need to be PEER REVIEWED journal articles.
