Before beginning this forum, please makes sure to complete the “Week Four Literary Discussion Forum: Poetry and Critical Approaches Assignment” quiz.ATTENTION: I was assigned the poem “Liberty and Peace.” ; P.250 in the textbook: Composition and Literature.
Initial post:Look through the critical approaches described by Muller and Williams in the Week 1 reading, and choose 2 that you think could be used to analyze the poem you chose.
In your post, explain how using each approach might affect your understanding of the poem. Would you focus on different parts of the poem? Different themes? Why? Make sure to support your claim with examples from the Muller and Williams chapter and from the poem itself.
End by explaining which critical approach seems to be more suited to the poem you chose. Be sure to explain your reasons for thinking this.
