A legal topic in public health law must be researched, written in a 5-7 page paper, and presented in class. The topic may be chosen from the textbook or any other source but is subject to Instructor approval. (A short (maximum 1 page) topic description proposal must be submitted to me through Canvas assignments.) Choose a topic you are interested in or want to research. (Contact me directly if you want to discuss your topic.) You can also contact the BGSU Library staff for research help or tips (they should not do the work for you but only help you in your search).

Papers are to be double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font with normal 1-inch margins, and submitted per the due date specified in Canvas assignment through Canvas, which will include instructions. You should follow APA citation style. Please also see the BGSU academic honesty code for further information on plagiarism and citation.

The paper should investigate all sides to the chosen issue. Deductions will be made if a paper only shows one viewpoint. In addition, papers will be graded on form. Writing style, spelling and grammar, is expected to be at the graduate level.
