ASSIGNMENTS:
Be given prompts to discuss in their journals, these are required work but the expectation of the final version of the journal will contain other relevant connections of course material and the student’s personal and professional applications and observations.

Journal Prompt One:

Students will reflect upon their criteria to evaluate a hospitality service. Students will develop a David Letterman top ten list of attributes of quality service. Each attribute must accommodate a rationale for its inclusion on the list.

Journal Prompt Two:

Students will analyze a service encounter by using the five dimensions of SERVQUAL. From a consumer perspective which two dimensions are the most important, include rationale. Are these five dimensions enough to quantify the service experience, explain.

Journal Prompt Three:
From Chapter 11 apply the concepts of the Types and roles of Service scape to and organization you are familiar with.
