Hi. I am the PTO (parent teacher organization) President this year. I have been asked to give a 4-5 minutes talk. Introduce myself, welcome, tell all of the first time parents and all parents of the 277 Kindergarden – 3rd greats, what is GREAT about the PTO and how volunteering doesn’t have to be a time sink. I’d like to say something around 2 hour of power, where there are roles that are just for 2 hours and its a huge help. After the presentation and the meeting is over, I and a few committee chairs for this years’ event will be at a PTO table asking people to sign up to volunteer for one of the many roles and opportunities.
