1. What types of security policies are there? How are they similar and how are they different?

2. Why does a company need an Information Security Policy? What are the various parts of an effective Information Security Policy? Describe each part and its function.

3. Have you ever had to deal with the effects of a disaster? If so, share your experience with the class. If not, consider to do a research on writing a policy plan preparing for disaster.

4. Federal Criteria for Information Technology Security : Please research the Federal Criteria, to determine why it was never finished. Chapter five covers FC. You are welcome to conduct your own research.
